I usually look at the entire screen when I brawl.
I usually taunt if someone KO'es another player to congratulate him or her.

 

 

Ditto, but I usually don't worry about where everyone is at a given moment unless they're within striking distance or I'm briefly away from the action.  I don't try to hide on the edges myself, but I do try and wait for the right moment to jump in.
