I know CM Punk feels he’s a natural heel but also thinks he has to ride out being a baby face because of the “currency” he’s built up with the crowds from his career and returning after an extended absence.
In other words, and he’d hate to hear it (since I know he’s a Bret guy), but he’s like Shawn Michaels when he came back after half a decade. Like Shawn Michaels, he also has a faction of fans who will hate him no matter what, but a majority who like him no matter what.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
