Oh, the denial doesn't come from where your favorite games comes from, Nintendo also produces some of my favorite games, that's not the question
The denial comes from where you imply Switch sells better because it has better software, therefore doesn't matter how good Steam Deck is specs-wise, people will overlook it because Switch software is superior
When in reality the majority of Switch software is on Steam Deck as well. Steam Deck library is superior to any console, Nintendo included
Steam Deck will never sell as much as a console, because it's a PC. Some products inherently have more sales than others, in the case of PCs the entry bareer in the market is non existent, any electronic company can start producing PCs and sell them. PCs sells much more than consoles indeed, just like smartphones sells much better than consoles. But the numbers of models and options reduces the sales potential of each model.
