I am not worried about the three playthroughs. I actually really love doing that. In large part, because I take a really long time with my first playthrough and then my second/third playthroughs are usually 5x faster. At least that was the case with the first game.  

The really sucky thing for DS3 is doing the covenants. 4 of them are pretty easy. One of the other two, is so far, worse than I expected. They seem to basically require killing two specific enemies several hundred (thousand) times. Everything else about the platinum is fine for me. 

Going to pace myself a bit by making progress in between farming. 

I'm not too bugged by it. I'm currently at 60 hours for DS3, whereas my Dark Souls 1 platinum took me like 150 hours.  Mostly because that first playthrough took a very long time to get into. 

Still having fun. And as I said, I will only do this once and then never again. 

Good to hear it! I did forget the "Rings" trophy, which requires you to beat The Nameless King on NG+2. I never found Nameless to be THAT difficult so this wasn't a problem for me, but I imagine a lot of people don't care for it. 

Because a lot of the rings require you to play on NG+ and NG+2, since they literally don't exist in NG. as in, they don't spawn unless you are on your second or third cycles. Again, not a deal breaker (I found the covenant grinding items to be far more annoying and tedious)

Either way, good to see you're taking it all well. I would hate for someone to resent the game for its ludicrous achievement requirements. Then again, all of the Dark Souls games require either save scumming to get multiple endings or up to NG+3 for various reasons. Multiple endings, each with a different trophy, many situations where you can only do one covenant per run and you need multiuple covenants to get all the spell/ability achievements, etc. Any other game pulls this shit and I'm like 'nah, I'm good', but I have to get the plat on all the FromSoft games.  It is decided! Demon's Souls Remastered, Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin, Dark Souls III, Bloodborne, sekiro Shadows Die Twice, and Elden Ring. got em all, and every one of them is in my list of my most proud gaming achievements!
