What it needs to make a better Pokémon game nowadays?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I would love a Gen 1 remake with FF7 Remake spiritual overhauls and in the direction of the Original 1990s anime with regards to story changes or atmosphere. This would be a huge undertaking, but I have meticulous ideas on how you would work within the framework of both the old anime and Generation 1 even thinking through how barriers in the environment would play out and adding new mechanics to evolution and NPCs. Battles would turn into third person shooters with heavy emphasis on physics. I would also like to see pokemon represented by their actual size like how modders have done it with following pokemon. This would only work with a limited roster of pokemon which is why I would choose generation 1, and it would be extremely expensive so I've learned to mitigate my expectations into more realistic aims. Game development evolution and progress is just way slower than I expected it to be as a kid. As much as FF7 remake angers a lot of original fans including many of my friends (I never played the original except up to midgar after)...I think that type of evolution is what I want from pokemon. Just seeing everything in a completely new and modern light. Gamefreak isn't interested in that and to be honest, most fans today don't care about that either.
