2.5 assist is not as bad as it sounds Patrick Ewing, David Robinson and Moses Malone other all-time great centers averaged less assists per game.  People sure like to forget that he averaged close to 11 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per game so no he wasn't one dimensional he could play offense and defense.
