Propaganda is often hypocrisy and lies. The Putin propaganda strategy is nothing new, he’s been doing it for over 15 years.

“The Firehose of Falsehoods” it’s called by researchers. Characteristics are:

1. High volume.
2. Rapid, continuous, and repetitive.
3. No commitment to objective reality.
4. No commitment to consistency.

The reason it works for his followers is because they aren’t concerned with objective truth. They care about Putin’s ownership over reality. To them, Putin always tells the truth, even when he lies.

You know who else engaged in blatant falsehood propaganda? (Hint… Hitler).
