This is according to Famitsu. Media Create has the PS3 ending up at 10.469mil while Famitsu has it ending up at 10.274mil.
Famitsu had the PS3 at 129k YTD when the PS4 released in week 8 2014 and it ended up at 450k in week 52 2014. That's 321k in 2014 after the PS4 released. It sold an aditional 256k after 2014 according to Famitsu which adds up to 577k PS3 sold after the PS4 released.
I advise you not to mix Famitsu and Media Create data.
