I've yet to find a game that is truely the best...
The most fun I've had over and over on one game on any platform, was Graal on the PC back in 1998 or 97, now that was hell of fun - It was the very first and only good GTA back then... but with swords and magic.
Plus it looked like Zelda: The link to the past.
Compared to that - I'm hoping Monster Hunter 3 is freaking amazing... >.> My value systerm is based around Graal as far as video games go... If I described why back then it was so perfect or what I experienced.. it probably wouldn't be so amazing.
1. Simple and familiar art style
2. Very simple controls that had so much depth in combat
3. Easy to nagivate maps while having a massive overworld (adventure)
4. Customize your characters
5. Great guild and friend system that kept track of where they are and stuff*.
6. Ying&Yang system - if you pked a lot you lost morale and had a crimson and onyx colored name, you also lost your max health to the bare minimum (nooby health) This actually made pking fun as heck and tolerable when being recieved.
Gold namers can't be hurt by pkers though, but they still took the hit which would annoy them, forcing them to hit you and lose their gold name XD - then the fight was on.
7. Customizable maps/music/npcs/special effects/etc. (medium difficulty to use)
So many other things ^.^ love my old graal... now I hear it sucks.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
