I see you have a ps5. Try genshin impact. It's similar to botw but better combat system, storytelling and characterization than botw, genshin falls short in other areas, such as puzzles and level design. 

I don't think it's worth buying any console just for 1 or 2 games. Only you can determine if that purchase is worth it really

My wife was super into Genshin but left it a bit ago haha. It never piqued my interest, not really into the character designs.

Yeah at the moment I'm only interested in BOTW and Metroid Dread since it has been suggested here. If I do get it it's probably going to be mostly for my wife since she's into Pokemon.
