What's evident regardless of hardware sales, is the software sales, the Playstation's are doing abysmally in Japan, it's their bread and butter for profits, not good  

It's always been bad for them in Japan isn't it? But worldwide they are still leading in software sales. There were a total of 70 million games sold on the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 for the last quarter. This is up 9.1 million from 61.4 million during the same period a year earlier
