It was a tough call for me between the PS1 and PS2 but my PS1 list would only consist of Final Fantasy and Resident Evil so for the sake of variety I go with the PS2.
1. Final Fantasy XII
2. Silent Hill 2
3. Metal Gear Solid 3
4. Castlevania Lament of Innocence
5. Shadow of the Colossus
Side Note: Konami was such a beast in that era. Hard to imagine nowadays but they were top notch in the 90s and 2000s.
