I doubt they'll actually max the Wii on the graphical front as Factor5 and High Voltage both claim to be working toward that. High Voltage went as far as building an engine that can perform tasks originally thought impossible on the Wii and Factor5 is intimately aware of how to make the internal mechanisms of the Wii work--they knew how to do it on the GameCube, and the Wii is just a GC on steroids. They'll find all sorts of wonders buried therein.
Nintendo hasn't worked hard enough, so far, to show off the graphical capabilities of the Wii except in Super Mario Galaxy and parts of SSBB.
