The financial report is the most accurate number that can be obtained. By law it has to be accurate. It does represent shipment figures, but one can extrapolate a certain amount for shelf stock and units in shipment.

NPD, VGC, GFK, etc are ESTIMATES.

The values in the financial reports represent precise data, NOT ESTIMATES.
