If, if and if ps5..., i didn't see this level of defend when people said Switch would flop everywhere even in JP without any proof. And now, some people are trying to defend ps5 sales in JP even with the actual number. Double standards at it's finest. Quite hilarious.

Who said switch would be a flop in Japan? Forget the game sales data. There were many Nintendo fans saying ps5 would be a flop during the first month of release just because of shortages

People who said a $300 portable wouldn't sell in JP.

Wait I don't understand
Some people are trying to say there is not much demand for the PS5 in Japan because it doesn't sell many each week, even though every single PS5 that gets shipped there is instantly sold out.

With this lack of intelligence, one has to wonder how that manage to cross the street without getting hit by a bus

PS5 games sales in JP.

SO, you see where you fail trying to defend your argument?

You say, PS5 will sell 200K+ only cause one store says so. But there is not games that make a contrast against the consoles sales or that demand...

Console sales flop = Software sales flop. Where the best sold game is Elden Ring with barely 160K copies. If what you say were true,  we'll see PS5 games keeping at  the top 10, or at least, we'll see ps4 games who people wanted to play in PS5, but they couldn't and furthermore, they must have to play the past version...

So, I really can't see any of your words like some with sense.

PD. OLED no stock issues in Japan? Rly man?

I said software sales can't be used to dismiss that potential and I used the store as evidence that current demand is way higher than supply. If the system can sell 50k with zero titles in the top 30, why would it need to have lots of software sales to manage 200k?

We get console sales, so we don't need to look at the software chart. We could look at software to understand that many PS5's are being resold to surrounding countries (i.e not staying in Japan), but as I said, Famitsu (and any other source) will not distinguish between that and the bottom line is we will see "PS5 has sold X" amount of consoles in Japan for that given week.

Or we can also say with the current software sales, ps5 with full supply can only sell 70-80k each week at best.
