Looks like the ps3 wasn't as slow as I remember it, at least in japan, thanks for the graphs.
To me it looks like an upswing is possible for the ps5, I would be shocked if it sold less then the WiiU and vita
If and when Sony get more systems to Japan I can see it doing better, games like kingdom hearts 4, dragon quest, ys, trials of cold steel, tales of, monster hunter, resi evil and ff16 as well as ff7 remake will all be on playstation, and unless those games somehow show up and a potential switch 2 (not impossible), those are the games that will help push sales for sony's system.
Big 3rd party japanese devs like capcom, sega, square enix will all make games for the ps5, some might end up being console exclusive if they can't run on nintendo's systems.
All this arguing is a little silly, I want the ps5 to do well because it's a fun system with the potential for great games, just like the switch.
