Hbk is literally my favourite of all time and I would struggle to justify a B despite seeing the pain he was in when taking any bump and trying to put in any offensive.

Because of how absolutely important that match was for the WWF at the time and how that firmly kickstarted Austin's run on top and kicked the Attitude Era into high gear. There's a lot more that goes into a great main event than just the ring work. Despite HBK's bad back, they still had a pretty good match. Tyson's involvement gave this the mainstream pull and media attention it desperately needed as WWE was trying to turn the tide against WCW. This match, this program since Austin won the Royal Rumble, and the night afterwards with him and Tyson in the ring, Vince yelling at him (the next seed planted in Austin vs. McMahon.) Everything involved with this Main Event was what turned the tide in WWE's favor in the Monday Night Wars. For those reasons, I have it in S.
