How about we just shut down social media entirely? Nobody needs influencers, no one needs to befriend people thousands of miles away, and no body should be shouting opinions at one another that they wouldn't have the gall to say to somebody's face. If you wouldn't have friended them or said that offline, then you shouldn't have friended or said that online. We'd all be better off if we poured ourselves into our local communities more and worried less about what some random person thinks halfway around the world.
We can still have news, articles, things to learn about other cultures. But social media should be destroyed. Even forums like this need to go bye bye.
