Eh.. I just buy games I want to play at launch and resell them a couple of weeks later. To local game resellers or Ebay, to recoup costs. You eat up maybe $10 sometimes more sometimes less. No need to for arbitrary rental times and restrictions.
That's what I've been doing for years. I keep the games that are worth my time and have some sort of replay value.
