In your case, probably.

But there's other cases where say someone's on a family plan where all 8 people play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and instead of paying $200 for just the Booster Course Pass for all 8 people, everyone gets access to it for $80. Which would make sense from a financial standpoint.
