I think it's funny...this work is going WAY too far.
I don't believe for a second that Cody ACTUALLY left AEW, at least not in a more serious capacity than a REALLY good swerve. Like, he technically leaves, goes and does a few things elsewhere, then comes back and it was all part of an ongoing story of some sort.
I just don't believe he'd help FOUND a company, then leave a few years later. He had too much creative control and I never got the impression he actually cared all that much about money. I'm quite close to certain that this is all a VERY elaborate work.
