I always read the posts in this thread, but don't post too often. I really only add my two cents in a discussion if there's already a good deal of discourse already going on. I think you're right about something needing to happen apart from the large distance between each of the consoles if discussion were to really come alive. Hell, decent software sales for the PS5 would probably spark some interest.
