I decided to do a table for a comparison to what many believe are Switch's best years, software wise, based on what Nintendo themselves are publishing. I am excluding where they only took over publishing in select regions. 2017 | 2019 | 2022 | Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild | Fitness Boxing | Pokemon Legends: Arceus | 1, 2, Switch | New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe | Kirby and the Forgotten Land | Snipperclips | Yoshi's Crafted World | Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Additional Content | Mario Kart 8: Deluxe | Nintendo Labo VR | Advance Wars 1 + 2: Boot Camp | Arms | Super Mario Maker 2 | Nintendo Switch Sports | Splatoon 2 | Marvels Ultimate Alliance 3 | Mario Strikers Battle League | Pokken Tournament DX | Fire Emblem Three Houses | Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes | Fire Emblem Warriors | Astral Chain | Splatoon 3 | Super Mario Odyssey | Tetris 99 | Xenoblade Chronicles 3 | Snipperclips Plus | Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening | Bayonetta 3 | Xenoblade Chronicles 2 | Ring Fit Adventure | Sequel to Breath of the Wild | | Luigis Mansion 3 | | | Pokemon Sword and Shield | | | Brain Training | |
Though there aren't as many games as 2019, I think some of the more meatier games make up for it. Plus, there are bound to be one or two surprises. I'd say 2022 has this in the bag. |
You forgot Mario + Rabbids 2
