Spoiler! Actually, I gotta say that first pet peeve is kinda strange considering that we know the Aegis contain litteraly a bank of everyones "ADN" meaning they're able to tap into unfamathoble powers beyond any other Blades. This isn't beyond disbelief in any stretch. More so, it reinforces his stand as an incredible powerful figure you should fear. Being defeated early on just like that by Mia, would've made this incredibly embarassing. As for the 2nd one. go look at the lyrics of "One Last You". She's pleading the whole time with God (Klaus)to get left another chance to be at Rex's side which she considers her love. This act is the last gift Klaus gives upon this world basically. Consider it kitch if you want, but this goes well in contrast with Jin's arc. For doing what he was supposed to do and actually letting go of Pneuma (like Jin couldn't with Lora), both get their final wish of reunion. That's it. Yet, in the end, it's to the player to decide if their also ready to invest their time to play a game which promises a long journey throughout a massive world. If you simply want something shorter, there's tons of games that does it too with shorter playtime. Personally, the 60-70 hours were more than justified by the end. |
I didn't say bad games are necessarily bad. Didn't mind the length of X or 1 which were similar. It's just that those games were interesting throughout, and this one not so much. And apparently you're telling me I need another 30 hours to fully understand it. But 60 hours should be plenty of time to tell a complete story. Anyway, those are my feelings. Not going to debate it any further.
