Yes, OT rules are stupid but the Bills defense let the Chiefs march down the field with ease. I thought the Bills were supposed to have this amazing defense but in the 4th quarter and OT they certainly didn't look it (they looked like the last ranked defense if anything). Anyway, that was an amazing game and I hope next weeks AFC and NFC championship games are just as good.

The Chiefs' defense was just as awful. Why should they be let off the hook?
Allen was just as incredible and amazing as Mahomes was. Why can't he get another shot to respond?

If the Bills had won the toss and scored that TD, the same would be true vice-versa.

The fact that an all-time classic, extremely important PLAYOFF game with high stakes can come down to a freaking COIN TOSS is total bullshit.

Exactly this.

Nobody's saying the Chiefs weren't worthy of the win...but we all know that like 90% of every overtime game in the NFL simply goes to whichever team wins that damn coin toss. It's just not particularly sporting.

For the current overtime format, the record for teams that win the coin flip in overtime: 86-67-10

So win 52.8% of the time, lose 41.1% of the time, tie 6.1% of the time.
