It does seem like this will be the decade VR starts to really take off. I look forward to seeing how big it gets and what sort of advancements happen in the next 5-10 years.

I would love a Nintendo headset. Botw2 in VR would be amazing.

Problem with good enough is, that it's not good enough for the hardcore gamers. It's always the first complaint, doesn't look good, too many sacrifices in visuals, next to short games. I bet a lot of Quest2 users use it to stream from PC. Anyway you see the complaints all the time about the weak Switch hardware and how Steamdeck is going to be better. (doubt it, but it does have more grunt)

But love the $10 million sales figure. VR is not a fad, just a slow burner, starting to pick up speed. 3D tvs bit the dust, Kinect is done, Voice control forgotten, Motion controls are back to occasional use, yet VR is still growing.

Aren't motion controls in a way growing again now as well since they go hand in hand with VR?

I meant motion controls for non VR games, the Wii era where motion controls were the future. They still are for VR of course, but flat screen gaming has dialed their use back to once in a blue moon, or shake controller to 'fix' the flashlight gimmicks. Gyro aiming is still used but stuff like Zack and Wiki, I don't see that anymore.
