Wow, just wow.. I mean this wasn't totally awful, Franchise ruining like Last Jedi or Rise of Skywalker (Revolutions already pretty much did that), but it was still laughably bad for the most part. I laughed multiple times in the first act and I think I said out loud "this is some stupid hipster bullshit!" I just couldn't stop thinking that for most of the first act. Seeing Neil Patrick Harris wearing neon blue glasses asking Neo if he "felt triggered", I seriously felt like *I* was living in the Matrix.. But maybe that was the point? XD
I will say it did get more entertaining by the second act, (I mean it went from laughably awful to mediocre). But yeah, overall just bad.. Felt like a fan fiction more than a legit sequel. Why can't these filmmakers and artists just leave well enough alone? Why do they insist on continually pissing on my childhood in just about all avenues?
