For me it was an awful Matrix movie and lowest (for me) by far. Idc about social commentary or any of that meta garbage. It was just meh film, with poor direction/action and contrived story, that leans way too hard on its previous films. Even the director seem like they didn't care much for the movie.
So in that sense I kinda have to put it to OP, even though I wouldn't call it that bad. This falls in line with a forgettable sequel; which is terrible for a Matrix film.
