Personally, I'm glad to see these cash grab movies failing, including Ghostbusters Afterlife and West Side Story. Even some of the more recent Marvel films that have been mediocre at best. And they can't cry about it being because of the pandemic anymore. Not after Spider-Man has been lighting up the box office.

If your movie launched just as theaters were opening in March, I can give you a pass. But, I think it's obvious that getting towards the end of 2020, Covid wasn't what was keeping people from the theaters.
Spider-Man just furthers the point.
