Switch might pass Wii before Christmas. Will probably pass PS1 last week of the year.
Then Switch will be hunting GB and PS4 and probably them down around black friday next year or maybe at beginning of next December.
The real question of course is if Switch can span that massive gap between GB/PS4 all the way to DS/PS2. Really just depends on when Nintendo replaces the Switch. If successor comes out Spring '24 it ain't happening. Holiday '24 it's got a decent shot. Spring '25 or later and I'd say it's almost guaranteed Switch will end up the top selling system ever.
