Then the NFT is completely worthless. The NFT you would "own" would have been made exclusively for the game it was made for, so if that game goes offline, there's nothing you can do with that item.
Unless, somehow, it becomes one of those situations where there are so few NFT's for a specific item in a game that didn't last 6 months, and it becomes a digital collectors item. How that would happen, I have no idea lol
