Sadly, the time is approaching where the Nintendo we fell in love with in the 80s and 90s will just be the same company in name only. Almost like a sports franchise.

Like a lot of things especially in manufacturing a console it is a collaborative effort but certain individuals have positions like production manager etc that drive the product, he was one of those an engineer who drove the console development bus while using his expertise to make sure others looked after the engine and tyres.
