I guess you are misinformed if it was not for their other divisions sony would be broke now.
They had to file in a new bank loan a few months ( about 200 billion yen I think it was) ago to finance everything they loose on the ps3.
If Sony fails on the ps3 and the sales of the psp will not pickup sony will have a problem with their gaming division and sony will end up being an other sega.
