The MCC launch disaster, the Halo 5 issues (poor writing which lead to the worst received campaign in the series, randomized lootboxes, and Hunt The Truth marketing campaign that had nothing to do with the game itself), Halo Infinite apparently having nearly 2/3rds of it's open world content cut (which explains the 3 missing biomes from the Slipspace engine reveal trailer), the Halo Infinite 2020 disaster demo, the Halo Infinite missing features on launch (forge, raytracing, weather, campaign co-op, mission select, Firefight, etc.), the Halo Infinite poor monetization and progression on launch, the Halo Infinite low map count on release. I could go on. Some of those issues are likely on Microsoft rather than her, but the fact remains, under her leadership 343 has had many struggles. Time to oust her and give Joe a chance, he has worked miracles on Infinite's campaign in the last year and a few months, I think if he had been in charge for the entire 6 months we would be looking at our first 90+ meta 343 Halo game right now. |
Man you seem to be in a pretty good blame everything on one person mood. There is a lot that goes on in a company, its rarely just one person. There are many different managers, Directors, department heads you name it. A lot of the stuff you mention doesn't even sound like it can just be placed on that one person. This is why gamers should just play games and stop worrying about what happens in a company. Most times you all just throw out blame having no clue what is going on. Why I always find funny is that when you get something good or solid, gamers always feel the need to find something to grip about instead of just enjoying a game. Why waste time blaming someone you have no clue if the items you feel are an issue was that person fault. At the end of the day, it appears that Halo Infinite is a good game and the MP is a solid entry. Even for Bungie they have had their ups and downs.
