It doesn't cover the scenario where both could be 800-1M but PS5 may be on par with xbox or even PS5 may be ahead of XBOX

whereas the second one suggest that XB should be ahead, as far as 200k at most

That doesn't change the fact that both can be correct at the same time and the first option is always correct if the 2nd option is correct meaning you should never go for the 2nd option because there is no better reward for doing so. xD
