That said, @Agente42, from Nintendo's total software numbers for various titles in Japan we can see that digital is in fact quite often over 30%, when subtracting famitsu numbers. For example digital accounted for over 50% of BotW's sales in 2020. Of course some first party games are affected by vouchers, especially the ones that are very expensive physically like JRPGs.

RE8 had 30% digital.

Of course it's mostly lower than in the UK  which probably has the highest digital share in the world, but that doesn't make it irrelevant or unlikely that there are games that have a 50%+ digital share.
