Edit: The PS4 version upgrades to PS5 for free, so this makes a little more sense. Some of those "PS4" software sales are also essentially PS5 software sales.

The Playstation user base never got to play Fatal Frame 5, some of the Nintendo user base did though. I think that could explain this.

True, though as the WiiU version only sold 46k in it's first 3 months (can't find data for after) I'm not sure how much of a bearing that has. Not many switch owners will have played it on WiiU, and it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people who bought it on WiiU would want to buy it again on Switch anyway. I think fans of this niche franchise would be the type to double-dip etc.
