They are consistent on reporting the numbers they have. And was you or someone else here that was saying they aren't fair to nintendo.

Yes it was you in this very thread. Seems like you aren't being consistent yourself.

Go to the actual post you were responding to.  I was comparing NPD to Famitsu.  Famitsu's reports are consistent.  NPD's are not.  Also Famitsu actually reports numbers for software and hardware.  NPD does not.  NPD's report is basically trash.  It is not useful in any way anymore.  There are no numbers, and their software charts are inconsistent.  If you want to know what an actual good report looks like, then look at Famitsu and not NPD.

However, in response to fairness you said this.
"So is they being unfair to Nintendo or Nintendo isn't telling them the data that other companies tell?"
I don't see this as either/or.  It's both/and.  (And yes, the post you linked to says both in the first sentence.)

Me: "The NPD has never really been fair to Nintendo, so they choose not to share data with them."

Sure NPD is totally trash and that is why most if not all of the big companies in gaming pay them for their data.
