Thanks for all the replies everyone! It seems sad they don’t include digital for things like NPD because we don’t get the true reflection of where a game charts (I know it shouldn’t matter as long as I enjoy it but I’m a geek for this kinda thing and I love seeing my favs do well haha).

NPD charts aren't a true reflection of software sales to begin with, because they rank games based on revenue instead of units sold.

I know it's different but from a representative standpoint, it reminds me of how having a number one record doesn't truly represent how popular a song was, like when you have a number one that sold 50k the week it reached 1 only to find out that the number 10 record a month later outsold it.

I vaguely remember reading about someone talking about the Beatles mentioning having a number 5 hit and laughing that 1-4 above it were all Beatles songs that took turns being number one, but the sales from that hit just during it's peak at no 5 sold double what that years biggest non Beatles number 1 sold during it's entire chart run.
