Interesting results all around. OLED is obviously under huge supply constraints. Demon Slayer debuted at about the same level as Metroid Dread. I wasn't sure if one title would completely dominate the other. In the end, this is fairly close and its going to come down to legs.
One thing I was fairly sure of though is that Demon Slayer sales would be almost entirely on PS4. The PS5 version sold less than a quarter of what the PS4 version sold. It is very likely that the PS5 version will also have worse legs. Demon Slayer's performance will almost entirely depend on how well it continues to do on PS4.
curl-6 bet me that PS5 + X|S sales would reach 56m before year end 2023 and he was right.
