Why am I not surprised that this degraded into one of those nonsensical "pack-ins don't count as killer apps" discussions? I've said it before, I'll say it again: pack-ins which sell insane amounts do so because they help sell systems. No company in its right mind would continue to produce a game as a pack-in title unless they felt that the pack-in was pushing system sales forward. Otherwise, they're just adding expense to the package without getting anything in return. This is why most bundles don't last very long, most being made either to promote a newly released game or to get rid of stock of a very unpopular game by forcing it on unsuspecting consumers (ala Marvel Ultimate Alliance on 360).
