When did Papa Phil even call GamePass the “Netflix of gaming”? All I remember him ever saying regarding Netflix is that GamePass could offer a place for single player narrative stories much like Netflix has offered a place for movies or shows that otherwise would have no home. He has also said he doesn’t like the “Netflix of gaming” term because all of the GamePass content is sold outside of the service. With Netflix you have to subscribe for 99.9% of it.
Either way the financials being thrown around this thread are based on nonsense and guesswork.
