Should Squeenix make a remake of FFVI on the Wii?

YES actually, it is perfect the way it is unless you're a graphics whore. FFVI should not be tampered with--it's as blasphemous as if they remade Super Metroid.  That link contained very dated cinematics that failed to impress.  Obviously the Wii can handle cinematics that look that old.  I'm sure they'll butcher FFVI into some blocky new quest for the DS, but I'd much rather they don't.  The game was perfect on the SNES and no remake will ever be better.  Those aren't "graphical limitations" in even the slightest sense of the term.  FFVI was a gorgeous game back in the 90's and it's still a gorgeous game.

I've got a much better idea for Square-Enix than remaking and potentially butchering a classic title--make a brand new game instead!
