But overall, it got pretty much all 3rd party games, one revision is the most powerful console of the generation, and the console has game pass, so I guess we got that because of the lack of success of the console (we all know how lazy companies can be when they have success)

I feel like 3DS isn't that great of a comparison just because I feel like perception of the system was probably a bit more positive on not just the consumer side, but the company side too.  

Initially they overestimated, but I think they started to realize that there will be an inevitable drop because of mobile gaming.  I don't think the XBox One was quite the same.
