Yeah we should see a lot more soon. Don't know when the embargo lifts for reviews though. Without spoiling the game for myself I did check out a small preview and it looks pretty darn good, never mind for an indie game. Quite excited to play it.. It was one of my highlights of last years show for sure. |
Thank you for this! Just made my day, for sure. I've been interested in this game since day one and while it is a little disheartening that it seems to have fallen out of the spotlight in lieu of DeathLoop and Death Stranding Director's Cut, every new thing I see about the game makes me more and more excited to play it. Looks great, looks even more indepth and fun than my initial thoughts were (I thought it would be SUPER rudimentary, since it's EmberLab's first game; they did animation for commercials before this, so I don't expect it to be mechanically deep or anything.)
what I want and expect out of it is a simple, 4-5 hour long campaign full of beautiful, lush environments, simple adventure and platforming elements, and a decent if unspectacular story. Based on what I'm seeing, I think that's a reasonable expectation and might be overdelivering on.
Seriously, though, it looks SO good and the traversal is far more interesting than I expected based on the first few trailers.
