NES has a lot of memorable games: Super Mario 1, 2 and 3, Megaman 1 to 6, Adventures of Lolo, Zelda, Metroid... a lot of franchises born in the NES.

 

A lot of licensed games were pretty awesome too: Chip and Dale, Ducktales, etc.

The list of good NES games is HUGE.

 

 Kids these days... they don't know anything about classic gaming.  The NES kicked serious ass.  Anyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant and should be put in a zoo.  That's a fact, I looked it up.  If you think ill of the NES, you are more beast than man.

 

And you guys (in general) should stop ripping on the Virtual Boy--it never even had a chance to be better.  Rip on a system that lasted a while and still sucked--like the N64 where 99% of the high quality titles were made by either Nintendo or Rare and textures were a terrible afterthought.

 

If you're going with the worst system with Nintendo properties on it--try the Philips CD-i.
