They have won, if winning is measured in business success. They won with the Gamecube too (Sony alternated between profit and loss during the PS2 era). Third-party games will help Nintendo to become more successful, but MGS4, Haze, Bioshock, Halo 3, DMC4, Lair, Heavenly Sword, Gears of War and many, many other "OMG Exclusive AAA" games have failed to cause their consoles to dominate. Not even FF13 can make the PS3 #1.
