*sighs*

Alright alright, I was a little hyperbolic and didn't literally mean we should let them all die, I just mean that I'm frustrated with the scale of this anti-vax thing and the fact that I'm required to do things I don't actually need to do (like wear masks at work) for the protection of people who don't even want that protection and are, in fact, often offended by it somehow. Am I allowed to have that frustration? Would that be alright with you? Am I permitted to say anything that's not politically correct here?

Diabetics are not impacting my lifestyle. Smokers are not impacting my lifestyle. Anti-vaxxers are. I know what it is to be an addict and this AIN'T the same thing! Just get your goddamn shots, people. It's not that tough. It's free. It's readily available to you right now, today, at local pharmacy, probably on a walk-in basis. It couldn't be more convenient. There is next to no risk involved in getting your shots and a lot more if you don't, and not just to you. I'm just saying. It's one thing to have normal reservations about getting shots, it's another to be ideologically motivated. No, I don't understand that mentality, I'm afraid and I'm pretty low on patience with it at this point. I'm tired of living like this for no good reason.

And yes, I feel sorry for that poor cancer patient, for fuck's sake! I don't think that makes me inhuman.

I hear you.  I think everyone is on edge lately and it takes me a lot to hold back sometimes.
