What if the next Nintendo console is not the "Switch 2"?

VR just doesn't work for genres that aren't in first person. The only Nintendo IP I know that could work in VR is Metroid Prime.

I'm actually disappointed that Nintendo hasn't maximized it's use of AR in mainstream gaming. Imagine something along the lines of Mario Kart Live, but for other Nintendo games and genres. There's just something that sounds fun about having Donkey Kong Country playable in my living room, or The Legend of Zelda in my basement. :)

You obviously haven't play Astro it's spends the majority of its time in the 3rd person.
