Switch used to be my main, until the lack of eventful software in last 2 years finally hit me and now I'm backtracking all titles I left behind for PS4

I'm giving my current Switch for my cousing this week and will be left without a Switch for a few months, I'm planning to get a OLED but no signs of the damn thing to be released in Brazil. Maybe I'll end just buying a regular Switch because I still have some backlog and I want to play upcoming games like Metroid Dread, SMT V, BOTW 2, Splatoon 3, etc

Most of japanese games I like (Souls games, Resident Evil, and all JRPGs) are on PS4, so me getting a PS5 eventually is a given even if I don't care much for western third party output. No rush for it though, no plans to got one before 2023

The fact the PS5 has BC are making me buy most of third parties on PS4, as I don't know if Switch 2 will have it (I bet it will, but I don't wanna risk losing my library so fast)

But overall I just feel third parties games are better on PS4 compared to Switch. I'm not talking about ports, but my feelings are third parties put more effort on Sony systems compares to Nintendo systems if this makes sense. Square Enix output is specifically superior to PS4. I realize the games are better when they are released for all platforms (Immortal Fenyx Rising, Crash 4) than when they are tailor made for Switch which is indeed VERY odd
